Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of canine fertility and reproductive services delivered through our fully mobile clinic, designed to support dog owners and breeders throughout each stage of the reproductive process. From fertility assessment and reproductive support to guidance surrounding planned matings and whelping, our focus is on providing calm, knowledgeable, and professional care. Every service is carried out with clear communication, attention to welfare, and respect for both you and your dogs.

  • Vaginal Ovulation Cytology

Cytology is performed on female dogs during their oestrus cycle to help determine the optimum time to breed and enhance the success of pregnancy. The types of cells present in the vagina vary depending on the stage of oestrus. A swab is taken of the cells lining the wall of the vagina and analysed under a microscope to determine ovulation to pinpoint the best day to mate.

  • Semen Collection & Analysis

Semen Collection and Analysis is a procedure used to check for any deformities, the motility and the sperm count of the semen to make sure it's suitable to be used for mating/artificial insemination. This can be done in multiple ways, manually under a microscope or automatically through a CASA machine.

  • Semen Chilling and Shipping

Semen can be collected, chilled and packaged for transport to a breeder elsewhere in the UK or Europe. Specialised transport boxes maintain the correct temperature for up to 48 hours, making precise timing with the female’s optimal insemination window essential. We can collect the sample, add an extender, and package it for shipment. All semen is assessed before chilling to ensure the quality is suitable for use as chilled semen.

  • Mating Assistance

We understand that mating can sometimes be challenging. Whether involving inexperienced dogs, dominant behaviour, or physical limitations, our professional mating assistance service is designed to support a smooth and successful process. We provide calm, hands-on guidance to ensure both dogs are comfortable, well managed, and in an environment that promotes successful mating, with the aim of achieving a healthy and planned litter.

  • Ultrasound Scanning

Our ultrasound scanning service provides a calm and supportive way to assess pregnancy following mating. Scans are used to indicate whether a pregnancy is present and to offer an estimated minimum litter count at the time of scanning. As ultrasound imaging has limitations, litter numbers cannot be guaranteed and may differ from the final number of puppies born. This service is intended to provide reassurance and early guidance, helping you plan the next steps while prioritising the wellbeing of your dog.

  • Whelping Assistance

Our whelping assistance service is designed to provide expert support during the birth of your dog's puppies. We offer guidance and hands-on assistance to ensure a smooth, safe delivery for both the mother and her pups. Our team is available to help monitor the whelping process and ensure the well-being of the mother and her new litter. With our professional support, you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is in capable hands throughout the entire process.

  • Microchipping

A pet microchip is a tiny computer chip that’s about the size of a grain of rice. It contains a unique code that matches up to your pet’s details. Microchipping a pet is a quick and simple procedure. The chip is inserted under a pet’s skin, usually around the bottom of the neck between the shoulder blades, using a needle. Pets can be checked for a microchip using a handheld electronic device, called a scanner. When this is waved over the pets’s neck, the scanner will recognise the unique information held inside the chip.

  • DNA Health Testing

These tests are ideal for breeders and owners who want the reassurance of genetic health testing. The turnaround time for these tests is typically 1-3 weeks after the swab arrives at the lab. We help you order the correct tests for your dogs and then assist you in swabbing them and sending off the results. Once the results come back to you we can assist you in how to read the results.

  • Colour & Length Testing

These tests are ideal for breeders and owners who want the reassurance of coat colour & length testing. The turnaround time for these tests is typically 1-3 weeks after the swab arrives at the lab. We help you order the correct tests for your dogs and then assist you in swabbing them and sending off the results. Once the results come back to you we can assist you in how to read the results.
